Privacy notice
This notice explains what we do with the details you type into our form. It follows the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Baca dalam Bahasa Melayu.
Who we are
hometherapy.my is a Malaysian home-based speech therapy service in preparation for Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. We have not opened yet. Write to hello@hometherapy.my about anything on this page.
What we collect
Only what the form asks for:
- Your name
- One contact, either an email address or a phone number
- Your area, so we know where to go first
- Your child's age band, as a range and never a date of birth
- The page you used, so we know which topic brought you here
We do not ask for your child's name, and we do not ask for a diagnosis or any other health information. If you want to tell us about your child's needs, tell us when we contact you.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, and to tell you when the service opens. We use the area and the age band together, in counts only, to decide which areas to serve first. We do not use your details for anything else.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your details.
- We do not share them with advertisers.
- We do not send marketing campaigns.
- We do not build a profile about your child.
How long we keep it
Two years from the day you send the form. After that it is deleted automatically. Ask us sooner and we delete it sooner.
Where it is stored
In Cloudflare Workers KV. Cloudflare processes the data on our behalf and operates a global network, so the record may rest on servers outside Malaysia. Only the people running this service can read it.
Your rights
Under the Act you may ask us to show you your data, correct it, limit how we use it, or delete it. You may also withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello@hometherapy.my and we reply within 21 days.
Giving consent
The form has a tick box. Ticking it is your consent. The form does not send without it. Withdrawing consent later does not make our earlier use of the data unlawful, and it does stop any further use.
Children
The form is for a parent or a guardian. Please do not fill it in if you are under 18.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from a third party. Our fonts are served from our own domain.
Changes
If this notice changes we update the date at the top. The version in force when you wrote to us is the one that applies to your data.
