What a session actually looks like

Parents often expect a lesson at a desk. For a young child it looks much more like play.

It looks like play

The therapist plays with your child and shapes the play towards a target.

You stay in the room

You are not a spectator. You practise the moves yourself.

It ends with a plan

You should finish knowing exactly what to do this week.

This page gives general information only. It is not a diagnosis. For your own child, see a registered speech-language therapist or a doctor.
