What we treat
Childhood apraxia of speech
In childhood apraxia of speech the child knows the word but cannot reliably plan the mouth movements to say it. The same word comes out differently each time.
Frequency matters here
Apraxia responds to short, frequent practice. We plan the week with you, not only the session.
We practise movement, not vocabulary
The target is the sequence of sounds, so we drill sound patterns rather than add new words.
Progress is slower, and it is still progress
We tell you plainly what changes, and how fast.
