What we treat
Stuttering
A child who stutters repeats sounds, stretches them, or gets stuck. Many young children pass through a stage of this. Some do not.
Do not tell a child to slow down
It rarely helps and it adds pressure. We show you what to say instead.
We change the room, not only the child
How fast the family speaks, and how long a child gets to answer, both change fluency.
Early help is easier
Therapy for a young child who stutters is usually shorter than therapy for an older one.
